Summary
Maintenance Technicians are FAA-certified Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) specialists who carry out maintenance tasks according to Allegiant Air’s Aircraft Maintenance Program (CAMP).

Minimum Requirements
- Education: High School Diploma or GED
- Certification: Airframe & Powerplant Certification (A&P)
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience maintaining aircraft in a Part 121, 135, or 145 setting
- Other: Must have authorization to work in the US, pass a Criminal Background Check, hold a valid driver’s license with a clean record
Preferred Skills
- Good communication skills, both speaking and writing
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Word and Outlook
Job Duties
- Maintain and repair aircraft, their parts, and related equipment according to Allegiant Air policies, manufacturer manuals, and FAA regulations
- Overhaul and repair airframe components, engines, and navigation equipment
- Attach proper tags to all removed parts as per company policy
- Stay alert for defective or worn parts and ensure safe working conditions
- Complete and sign off on maintenance work forms and records
- May need to perform inspector duties if qualified
- Keep the work area clean and organized
- Handle all required paperwork
- Perform other assigned tasks
Physical Requirements
- Stand, sit, talk, hear, see, reach, stoop, kneel, climb, and use hands and fingers
- Lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 lbs
- Work various shifts in a 24-hour environment
- Handle extreme noise, temperature, wind, and light changes
- Work in confined spaces and at a computer for long periods
- Wear personal protective gear
- Possible travel required

Hourly Rate: $40.43 (Base Pay: $35.43 + Airframe License Incentive: $2.50 + Powerplant License Incentive: $2.50)
