Summary:
Key Working Relationships: Maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Contribute to complex projects and working groups. Collaborate with team members to develop effective data collection systems. Communicate project information, risks, and dependencies.
Functional Responsibilities:
- Analytical/Judgmental: Analyze detailed projects and reports. Organize information for future use. Monitor risks and contribute to performance management. Review clinical data to identify inconsistencies in medicines and treatment pathways.
- Communication: Provide specialist advice and investigate variances. Support internal and external communications. Prepare complex correspondence and documents.
- Financial and Physical Resources: Achieve objectives and optimize resource use. Enhance efficiency and contribute to financial goals. Monitor budgets and standards in collaboration with other teams.
- Staff Management: Provide training, support, and assist in recruitment.
- Information Management: Improve decision-making through reporting and analysis. Develop and maintain information systems and databases. Lead the implementation of innovative IT solutions to ensure compliance with commissioning intentions.
- Research and Development: Support key performance indicator development. Test and review new concepts, models, and methods. Share learning outcomes across the organization.
- Planning and Organization: Adjust strategic plans as needed. Support modernization and service improvement strategies. Contribute to performance and governance frameworks. Lead team plans and strategic directions.
- Policy and Service Development: Propose changes to improve own projects and functions. Contribute to reviewing and developing information management systems. Implement strategic medicines safety plans using digital solutions.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience in pharmacy management or related field
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Ability to manage resources effectively
- Familiarity with NHS policies and procedures
- Knowledge of medicines management and clinical policies
